Symmetry

We have spent this last week of term looking at 2D & 3D shapes, symmetry, co-ordinates and translation, rotation, reflection and tessellations.  We've had alot of fun exploring geometry.  Shayla and D'Angelo built some symmetrical creations out of blocks one wet day before school.  Good job team!

Where In The World?

Welcome to one of our last blog posts for 2020! We have been showing hard mahi to complete our inquiry on countries of the students choice this term. They chose a country, used their new 'note taking' skills learnt in Term 2 and 3 to make a small booklet on their chosen country, then presented this information in a 'new' way to show their learning.  We know you'll appreciate their creativity.

Hockey Skills

We've had a wonderful time with Georgia from Sport Taranaki learning some new hockey skills. It is so good having the turf for us to play on!

Happy Term 3 Holidays everyone!
