On Friday Kris from the Taranaki Kiwi Trust visited us.  She had lots of stories to share about how kiwi are being released up the Maunga and how our predator trapping means these kiwi have a much better chance at life. Alongside our Te Reo Maori learning each week we are learning some of the basics of sign language.  We are lucky enough to have our own resident 'expert' Arla.  She is helping us learn some of our third language of New Zealand.  Thanks Arla! Term 1, Week 5 we learnt to ask someone how they are. We are having trouble uploading video to our blog although we video Arla every week doing our sign language lessons!  See if you can teach yourself how to sign your name.
