Swim Safe Lessons

We were so lucky to have Cecilie from Swim Safe NZ with us today! She has been up skilling our staff on ideas for teaching swim safety. We had so much fun! Did you know that we don't teach 'swimming' at school, that rather, our focus is on being safe in and around all types of water - the beach, pools, rivers and lakes.

Ju-Jitsu Champion

One of our young men competed in the 2020 Ju-Jitsu Oceania Championships in Auckland over the weekend.  Well done - check out that medal haul!

Beach Education Term 1, 2020

Kia Ora whanau, Beach Education day was so much fun - we learnt the importance of knowing what to do if we are caught in a rip, we had a look around the NPOB surf club facilities and finished with some games and swims at the beach. Talk to your tamariki about what they learnt, see if they can tell you the four things that identify a rip.
