Beach Education Term 1, 2020

Kia Ora whanau,

Beach Education day was so much fun - we learnt the importance of knowing what to do if we are caught in a rip, we had a look around the NPOB surf club facilities and finished with some games and swims at the beach. Talk to your tamariki about what they learnt, see if they can tell you the four things that identify a rip.

An Inspirational Thought Inspired by Dr Seuss

Kia ora whanau, Here is a lovely poem that has been written by an anonymous person in the style of Dr. Suess. Remember our parody work? This is an example of this. Share it with your whanu, I love the message this poem gives, I hope you feel the same. Here are some ideas for the next two weeks of the school holidays, have some fun with your whanau! And finally, here is a suggested timetable that you may (or may not!) find useful.
